About School
Founded in 1996 by the Siri Singh Sahib, Yogi Bhajan, Miri Piri Academy is nestled on a 13-acre peaceful campus just 9 km from the Golden Temple in Amritsar. As an international day and boarding school serving grades 5 to 12, MPA welcomes students from India and across the world. Rooted in Sikh Dharma and Kundalini Yoga, the school fosters spiritual depth, disciplined character, and academic growth in a nurturing, inclusive setting.
Academics
MPA follows a robust Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) curriculum, blending expeditionary projects, interdisciplinary learning, and traditional instructional approaches. Students pursue a minimum of five IGCSEs and three A-Levels, positioning them for success in global higher education. The school offers English immersion for learners new to the language up to Grade 8. The core curriculum spans humanities (English, history, social sciences), STEM (including environmental science and engineering), Punjabi language, Sikh philosophy, arts (visual, digital, ceramics), and music (Gurbani Kirtan or tabla). Complementing academics, MPA integrates life and career skills—goal setting, time management, personal finance, and relationship-building—while providing college counselling throughout a student’s journey.
